Fees and Other Information

(All fees are subject to change and review by Betmar Acres Clubs)

BETMAR ACRES TRANSACTION / OWNERSHIP TRANSFER FEE of  $1,000.  

All buyers and “new” owners of any properties located within Betmar Acres Mobile Home

Park, including vacant lots, will pay a $1,000 fee to BETMAR ACRES CLUB at the time of

closing or be billed by the BETMAR ACRES CLUB when ownership changes.

BETMAR ACRES CLUB ANNUAL FEE  $239.50 This gives you access to most park

facilities, activities and common areas. A private security firm provides nighttime security

seven nights a week. (Betmar homes in Unit #6 have a higher fee scale

 usually an additional $40.)

GOLF CLUB FEES FOR OWNER (As of Jan. ’10)

Registration of  $320  (one time fee)  

Annual golf dues  $170.00                    

Trail (Cart ) fee $35 (Annual)

Club storage $  22   (in clubhouse)

Annual Registration Fee   $160.50

Overnight guests of Owners and Renters may play by simply registering under your

 membership and paying the current daily guest rate (per person).  However, you must be

accompanied by a golf course member.   Golf dues are effective January 1^st through

December 31^st.  Dues are not prorated, however new homeowners between October

and December will receive a discount.

SWIM CLUB FEES FOR OWNER’S  as of April 1, 2012

New Membership Per Individual $180

$180 Per Individual New or Renewing

Your overnight guests may swim for a small donation if you are a member.  Swim club

dues are effective April 1^st through March 31^st.  Dues are not prorated.

Game Room membership fee: $15.00 per year per person --April 1^st – March 31^st

Shuffle Club membership fee:  $10.00 per year per person – Oct. 1^st – Sept. 31^st

Tennis Club membership fee: Single $27.82 Couples $44.94 – Jan 1^st – Dec. 31^st

Home Owners’ Utilities and Service Information

WATER AND SEWER, where available, are metered and is provided by Pasco Utilities,

Inc., a privately owned corporation regulated by the Florida Public Service Commission.         1-352-521-4285 … A security deposit of $163 is required of all new owners plus $45 turn on

fee if on closed account.

PHONE & CABLE TV is available from Brighthouse PH: #788-7634 (Has seasonal plan) & Verizon.  PH: # 1-800-483-4000… Other satellite companies are also available.

ELECTRIC SERVICE is provided by Progress Energy PH: #1-800-700-8744 (Average

monthly cost $65-$150)

TRASH PICK UP is by private carriers and averages about $12 per month for twice weekly

 pickups.  CENTRAL CARTING: 813-788-7579 WASTE SERVICES 727-847-9100

LAWN MOWING is the homeowners responsibility.  Several dependable lawn care people

 are available. (Average yearly cost $250)

COUNTY PROPERTY TAX based on county assessment of land and home values.

CHILDREN are always welcome as guests but cannot be permanent residents.  They must be accompanied by an adult when using the park facilities.

PETS are allowed only in designated areas and must be on a leash when off the owner's

property.  All droppings must be picked up and buried.  This restriction is strictly enforced.
